A mabe pearl and diamond brooch. The mabe pearl, measuring approximately 12 by 10mms, to the mabe pearl sides with old-cut diamond double accents. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 2.7cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Central mabe pearl untested for natural colour origin. The central mabe pearl nacre is heavily cracked. Three fracture lines are visible, durability impaired. The side mabe pearls are quite well matched. Blisters and blemishes to the surfaces. The nacre layers have worn away to surface. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. One circular-cut diamond replacement. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
