WHALING SHIP'S WHEEL - Large 19th c. Walnut and Bronze Ten-Spoke Wheel with bronze hub, iron spindle, bronze handle marking cap, the spindles turned, the handles quite large. Purportedly from the last whaler to dock in Nantucket, purchased in 1970 off the dock. 60" diam (5 '-0"), 3 1/2" hub. Good condition, worn from use, but not weathered.
