Jack London, gaining more success with his career as a writer, is moving into a new house in Oakland, about to marry Bessie Maddern (the wedding was on April 7), and has purchased furniture. Included is carpeting, curtains, two couches, a rocker, six chairs, a rubber mat, and other articles. The cost of $153.35 was to be paid for in 16 monthly installments. Jack London's signature is covered with a light Paid rubberstamp. A rare artifact from London's early days as a successful writer.
Condition
