Johann Distler
Johann Distler founded his tin toy factory in Nuremberg around 1900. At the beginning the production focused on so-called penny toys. In the 1920s and 30s over 800 different products, mainly cars, planes and mechanical figurines were marketed. The Porsche 7500 with an electric motor became a bestseller in the 1950s. In 1962 production ceased. (cko)
