Description

137. Silver Dress Cane-Ca. 1910-Large crook silver handle fashioned in a nearly square configuration with agreeably rounded edges and richly hand chased on its vertical stem in the taste of the antique with two identical Vitruvian panels. Ebony shaft and a white metal ferrule. Two clear hallmarks with the half moon and crown beside an “800” help identifying a German origin. The cane was used and shows minor bumps and dents totally in keeping with its age.-H. 5 ½” x 4 ½”, O.L. 36 ½”-$300-$400
