PAIR WOODBLOCK GEKKO OGATA (1859-1920) MEIJI PERIOD Gekko Ogata (1859 – 1920) was one of the well-known Ukyo-e artists of Meiji period. One depicts, Women in Tea Ceremony. The other lady with umbrella. Each measures 9-3/8" wide (23.81cm) x 14" tall (35.56cm) + 2-1/2" mat. Both signed and stamped with character mark. Unframed. Total weight 294g.
