One word to perfectly describe and Elgin watch is 'vintage'. This major American watch company produced and sold their watches from 1864 until their closure in 1968. In the time that they were in business, the company's manufacturing complex in Elgin, Illinois was the largest site dedicated to watchmaking in the world.
