Two copper-engraved maps on one sheet. Each 23.2x18.1 cm (8x7"); sheet size 35.5x55.5 cm (14x21¾"), sectioned and backed with linen, the vertical sections bisecting each map.

Early depiction of Monterey and the adjacent coastline. There is a coastal road from Carmel through the ruins of Presidio de Monte-Rey and north to Santa Cruz. Numerous soundings are noted in Monterey Bay.
