Description

We are extremely pleased to offer this gorgeous antique French Drape beaded purse for your consideration. This purse (ca 1890-1920s) features gold beads in a draped design giving it a fabulous Flapper look. It is lined in brown fabric with gold rick rack trim and has an interior pocket. Its original frame and double rolo chain handle is in great shape, but the handle is showing minor rust. The ornate filigree frame has a laurel wreath ring on the front - the wreath is a symbol indicating victory. The frame has a pressure release/closure that works perfectly. This beauty measures 15 inches from the top of the handle to the end of the draped fringe and is about 8 inches across. This purse will be a prized addition to a vintage/antique purse collection. It came from the living estate of Ailene & Buddy Ford; noted dealers and lifelong collectors of valuable antique & vintage heirlooms. *** Weight: 13 oz. - Measurements: 15 x 7.5 x .75" ***
