Description
WE SHIP! The AEAA is proud to present this handsome 1950s French porcelain and ormolu footed putti (cherub) ladies dresser box, hand-painted with gilt accents, a unique pineapple finial rams head clasp, and special sinuous dragon stylized handles. Our vintage box carries an Italian Ginori style Crown N, but is signed France. The original 18th century Capo-di-Monte mark became Richard Ginoris symbol in the latter 19th century. The image was so popular, that the Crown N became much used in Europe for thick enameled floral & figural porcelain. The total weight 1# 5 oz., measures 7 x 5.5 x 5.5" tall, and is in VG condition. This fine heirloom is from the living estate of Ailene & Buddy Ford, respected, longtime dealers of valuable antiques.
