Description
WE SHIP! The AEAA is exceptionally pleased to present this lot that showcases a rare early Fenton called HorseHead Medallion or The Pharoah's 3 Horses. This is a 7 inch collar base Carnival glass bowl , circa early 1900's, sporting five medallions of the Pharoahs Horses. The horse design of this pattern was based on the famous painting of the same name, Pharaohs Horses, by John Frederick Herring. It features stunning rich Marigold color with uniform salts, and an especially crisp mold. Our example features Horsehead Medallion interior, and the underside pattern represents the Berry & Leaf Circle pattern. The weight is 13 oz., measures 7 x 7 x 2 inches deep, and is in spectacular condition! This fantastic heirloom is from the living estate of Ailene & Buddy Ford, noted dealers and lifelong collectors of valuable antiques.
