It is a long sleeved dress with an empire waist and wide skirt. It has a lace collar with ribbon trim and a small bouquet of ribbon flowers on the center front. The base dress fabric is a bright plum, covered with different patterned embroidered mesh laces. It is accented with ribbon, ribbon flowers and the waist has a scalloped braided trim. The under-dress skirt hem has an one inch lace trim. The over-skirt is beautifully composed montage of different laces. with multicolored ribbon trim and ribbon bow accents. The long puffy sleeves have lace ruffles at the cuffs and multicolored ribbon bow accents. The dress has a two snap back closure and a large decorative lace and fabric back bow. It measures 5.25 inches across the shoulders, the underarm seam is 4.5 inches and the overall length is 17 inches. The beautiful matching wired bonnet has a lace covered brim decorated with a bouquet of ribbon roses and ribbons. It has a large pink ribbon on the back of the brim. The brim is 3.5 inches at the tallest point. The face opening measures is about 11 inches. This ensemble is completed with a laced front and ribbon trimmed petticoat and bloomers. The drop waist has nice looped trim. The neck and arms openings are trimmed in lace, and the gathered skirt is also trimmed in lace. It has a three snaps closure and a decorative bow on the back. The petticoat measures 6.5 inches across shoulders and the overall length is about 14 inches. the bloomers. The bloomers are darted from the waist to the hips and have a drawn ribbon waist closure.
