A 19th century Chinese hand painted Famille Verte vase. Large size, fluted rim, unmarked on base. Bears various Chinese characters painted on one side, on the other a social scene with women and children. Foo dog head form handles. Condition: one chip to base rim, minor wear to paint as expected with age, see images. Measures a total of 17.4" tall x 7.75" (6.8" rim diameter). Weight: 8 lbs.
