1910 & 1935. A mixed group of glazed ceramic items comprising: a green-glazed bowl with scrolled rim, sprays of flowers surrounding tinted portraits of the king and queen with royal arms above and flags, legend 'Long May They Reign' above 'Crowned June 22nd 1911'; squat cup with gilt detailing, polychrome portraits, crown over monogram 'GE V' with 'Coronation 1911', to the underside 'Royal Doulton England' and lion over a crown; two cup with portraits in cartouches with foliage and flags, '1910-1935' above, 'George- Silver Jubilee -Mary' below; a white-glazed teapot, rectangular in plan with portraits in wreaths, crown above, flags to the sides, scrolls with 'Queen Mary', 'King George', '1910-1935', to the underside 'Ringtons Ltd. Newcastle on-Tyne Maling Ware'; a mug with royal arms and cartouche portraits, scroll with legend, shield to the reverse with 'Cheadle Coronation Festivities June 22nd 1911' and to the underside 'British Make supplied by T. Sutton Stockport'. 1.9 kg total, 6.5-25cm (2 3/4 - 10"). Property of an Essex collector; acquired 1960-1990. [6, No Reserve]
