Mid-century, storage unit, USA, 1950s, enameled steel, walnut plywood, Masonite, red, yellow, and blue hard plastic laminate, unsigned, 64"w x 17.5"d x 31.75"h, Provenance: Estate of Ernst and Ann Seeler, Evanston, IL / Collection of Amy Kraushaar, Chicago, IL, Catalogue Note: This cabinet is student work from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, which was founded by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy in 1937.
Condition
No chips or cracks. All feet are included. Light to moderate surface scratches, scuffs, and abrasions; light wear consistent with age and use over time. Original finish to all elements. No repairs or restoration detected. Bowing to the side panels of the sliding door section. The drawers are a little stiff. Unsigned.
