attributed to Virginia, 1815-1825, dovetailed walnut box with open interior and turned feet, cut nails, interior MESDA label, 14-1/2 x 19 x 11 in. old refinishing, lacking interior lock and catch, crack to backboard at hinges with some later small nails, old nail through to interior has been hammered down, other typical minor chips, dents and surface wear.
