Description

Offered in this lot are three collectibles for Indy 500 fans, including a first-edition copy of Robert Daley's "The Cruel Sport." Published by Bonanza Books in 1963, it conveys the perils and drama of Grand Prix auto racing. Included are loads of spectacular black & white photos taken by the author. The dust jacket is missing and the cover shows signs of wear and aging, but the book itself is in very good condition. Also in the lot is a 1968 United States Auto Club 1968 Yearbook and a 1990 Indianapolis Star special edition, The 500: 1911 to 1990; both covers show signs of wear.
