Description
This lot features eight items that all could be associated with the summer of love era of the late sixties. There are four paper items and four pin-back buttons. The paper items consist of a business card from Zig-Zag Bail Bonds, an empty rolling paper package from the Jefferson Airplane, a card announcing an Evening with Dr. Timothy Leary in Eugene, Oregon, and a used matchbook from the infamous Watergate Hotel (may be a stretch). The four pin-back buttons are: "Foy Brings Joy" from Foy rolling papers, "Legalize It" pin that is referring to marijuana, the iconic peace symbol, and a badge that just says "Funologist." The cards are all approximately 3-1/2" x 2" and the pin-backs are approximately 1" to 1-3/8" in size; only the Foy pin has its pin on the back. This is an interesting lot to say the least. We offered this lot in our last auction and the winning bidder never paid for it so we have it for sale again.
