Featuring the mega-hits "Piece of My Heart" and "Summertime" this is the record that rocketed the gravel-throated songstress to superstardom. Though her career was startlingly short, her legacy is massive, influencing everyone from the legendary Stevie Nicks to platinum-selling Pop star Pink. Though Big Brother released an album before this, and Joplin went solo afterward, Cheap Thrills is widely considered her masterwork, and this copy is signed by the Queen of Psychedelic Soul, Joplin herself, in black ink in the upper left-hand corner.
