Corinthian Ware plate marked Royal Bayreuth, 9.5" with Greek warriors in white inset into the center of the plate with a gold-edged Greek key motif circling the warriors. I have seen just a few pieces of this ware online and never a plate so I was surprised to find this one sitting on a table at a garage sale. Definitely not perfect - hairline crack on the back that doesn't appear on the front and several areas of color loss to the areas around the warriors - but the warrior inset is clean and intact and the gold on the Greek key still even and intact. Remember these pictures are highly magnified.
