Late 19th century, one lock marked ''Brevete / V.F. / Paris / S.G.D.G.'', the tooled leather-topped I-shaped outset desktop over central locking drawer flanked by vertical arrangements of three drawers each, the verso of each leg centered by a circular inlaid allegorical scene of animals in classical landscapes in various fruitwoods, 29'' H x 63.75'' W x 33'' D, est: $1000/2000

Condition

Overall good condition. General scuffs, dings, scratches, scattered areas of lifting to veneers and wear to tooled leather top commensurate with age. Spots of liquid discoloration to top; the largest area approximately 3.5'' x 1.25''. Sun fading. Lacking keys. Evidence of woodworm.
