CHARLES VI: (1685-1740) Holy Roman Emperor, King of Germany, Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia, and Archduke of Austria 1711-40. L.S., Carl, three pages, folio, Vienna, 8th October 1721, to Ernst Ludwig, in German. The Emperor sends to his correspondent documents concerning Von Ratmannsburg debts, with documents received from lawyers `Georg Nicolaus and the jew Moses Benjamin Wulff´, and claims demanding payments of such debts. Charles VI orders that the debts must be paid stating `..remind you to take care that from the debtor´s assets, both creditors must be paid. This way, no more regulations and costs for legal process will happen…´. With two large countersignatures at the foot of the third page and with a large paper seal affixed to the address leaf. Overall age wear, with small tears to the trimmed edges, and a stain due to remnants of the wax seal. G £250-350
