Along with the Ref. 2241 ‘Eiffel Tower – Pagoda’, and the Ref. 2554, the Ref. 1593 is one of Patek Philippe’s most iconic rectangular case wristwatches. Utilizing a flared lug design with concave sides and a facetted crystal that mimics the side profile of the case, as well as a fitted caliber 9-90 movement, the Hour Glass is memorable in design and world-class in construction. This example dating from circa 1950, has excellent sharp lugs and crisp hallmarks.

The watch case dimensions are 25 x 41mm and 9.9mm in height. The strap length is 21.5cm and the lugs width is 20mm. Timepiece is in very good condition with minimal traces of wear. Overhaul is recommended at the buyer’s expense. Long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed.
