In original tooled leather scabbard with â€˜Collins & Co./Legitimusâ€™ stamped on leather with company symbol of arm holding hammer emerging from crown. The scabbard has brass throat and drag and leather belt loop with name on throat â€˜Henryâ€™. The 15â€™ single edged steel bolo blade is stamped â€˜No. 1005â€™, with two piece horn grips attached with four brass rivets, total length in scabbard 22â€. This is a type one bolo by Collins & Co. of Hartford Conn. Made for use during the Philippine Island Insurrection.
