Lot of three circa 1880’s 3.75 x 4.5 inch albumen photographs on original gray card stock (7 x 8.5 inch). The first is a self-portrait of this unknown young gentleman photographer seated and wearing a straw hat. In this self-portrait you can clearly see the strings he holds to operate his camera; the next image shows the same photographer with his camera set on a stack of cut lumber with rock wall and forest in background. He is under the cloth hood at rear of camera preparing to take a photo, wearing the same clothing as in previous image. The third is an interesting trick photo, showing a man who appears to be running in the air, again with rock wall and trees in background.
