Modern, academic, 1981. This is a Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum describing the Attic black figure and related wares collections of the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada, written by J.W. Hayes, and published for the British Academy and the Royal Ontario Museum by Oxford University Press. The Corpus of Ancient Vases is a collection of publications, that consist of high-quality catalogues of mostly ancient Greek painted pottery kept in museum and university collections around the world. The first publication appeared in 1922, and since then there have been around 380 published, documenting over 100,000 vases in 24 countries. Size of folio pages: 13" x 10 1/2" x 1".
