A 19th Century Elliot & Sons Punch Bowl. Circa 1820, bearing impressed maker's mark on the underside. With a transfer decorated and gilt motif of flowers to the interior and outer perimeter, raised on a figural base depicting dolphins amidst sea grass and shells 9.5" x 18.25"

The piece sustains an overall light craquelure throughout. There is a repair on a hairline crack that spans 3/4 of the way through the interior of the bowl and is evidenced by two staples on the interior of the bowl and two staples on the exterior. The ground of the bowl sustains various spots of pigment loss. The interior of the rim of the bowl is slightly discolored. One fish foot sustains one horizontal hairline crack throughout the middle of its body. The entire bottom rim decoration sustains a number of chips to the pigment revealing the under material.
