Pastel: on very thin tan paper, probably darkened overall and darker at the edges.The top and bottom edges are taped to mount with brown paper tape over pieces of cellophane tape. There are three at the top, five at the bottom, and one each at the left and right. There are some framers notes in the margin. 'Near Swindon': is a pencil and wash which is laid down and mat glued on top with foxing overall. 'Towards Turville Heath': on green laid MBM paper measuring 18" x 24.75". Has several tears in the edges and damages in the sheet corners. There are some notes in red ball point pen in the lower margin. The longest tear is 1.5" in the upper edge. 'Kitchen': on thin wove paper measuring 19.25" x 24.75". There is soiling at the edges, a few short tears and losses with creasing near the edges of the margins, and some ball point pen notes in the lower margin.
