Description
Loetz (Austrian, 1836-1947), early 20th century. A gold iridescent 'Candia Papillon' oil spot vase in the form of a Persian water sprinkler with tear-drop shaped mouth and slender neck leading to a tri-pinched rounded body. The circular base apparently unmarked with concave finished pontil. Approximate height 10.3". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Very minor small flecks of inclusions. Interior has collected dirt and dust particularly towards the base. Small area of iridized loss or discoloration (approximately .15"), not distracting. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
