Item Details

Description

Continental Enamel and Alabaster Annular Clock, first quarter 20th century, the cobalt-enameled urn-form case decorated with classical figures in gilt trim, the annular rings with Roman numerals indicating time by pointers, just above the knurled winding stem, hung with decoration chains and mounted with an acorn finial, and resting on an octagonal alabaster base, h. 7", dia. 3".

Condition

The enamel is in fine condition. No evidence of chips or damage. The gilding to the metal surface is dull and worn. No sign of damage or repairs. We are uncertain of its running condition.
