WILLIAM HENRY WARREN BICKNELL (AMERICAN, 1860-1947) LANDSCAPE PRINT, etching on paper, signed in plate as well as in pencil lower right. Housed under glass in a modern molded wood frame. Circa 1919. 3" x 4 3/4" plate, 6 1/8" x 8 1/8" OA.
Catalogue Note: William Harry Warren Bicknell (1860-1934) was an important American printmaker and illustrator of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born in Massachusetts, Bicknell would remain in his native state throughout his life producing numerous etchings of the coast and interior regions. He exhibited widely, and his papers and effects are currently housed at the Smithsonian.

Areas of toning and foxing, including two possible stains to upper corners. Light crease left side. Not examined out of frame.
