Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A porcelain hu vase finely hand painted with a mountainous landscape scene on tondo to pear shaped body, front of body with many pagoda form buildings set amid mountains and lush trees with figures walking to foreground, back of body with a seascape with many sailboats and one fisherman on a raft, the vase with applied antlered deer handles to either shoulder. Marked to underside with red six character archaic Qianlong imperial reign seal. Approximate height 11.75", width across handles 9.5".
