Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Kangxi Period mark (1662-1722), likely 20th century. A Kangxi style famille verte baluster form porcelain vase decorated to white ground with many hand painted colorful butterflies and dragonflies in flight, the shoulder with a band of diaper patterning with four ruyi scroll heads at poles, the narrow neck with a band of green with yellow quatrefoil floriforms, with gilt band to rim. Marked to underside with cobalt underglaze six character Kangxi imperial reign mark. Approximate height 17.5", diameter 9.25".
