Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A hexagonally faceted porcelain botle vase with cobalt underglaze decoration to bulbous body in four clusters of scrolling vines surrounding a central chrysanthemum blossom, the shoulder and neck with bands of scrolls, flower blossoms, and waves, the mouth with further complimentary patterning, the conforming foot with a band of meandering key. Marked to underside in cobalt underglaze with six character archaic Qianlong imperial reign mark. Approximate height 12.25", width 6.75", depth 5.125".
Condition
Excellent condition overall. Light wear to top of rim with some areas with thinner glazing. Wear to bottom commensurate with age and shelf use. No signs of chips, nicks, fleabites or cracks.
