DESCRIPTION:Lot of four Russian papier mache lacquered box. One is from the Khouli Village and depicts Tsar Elisei on a horse and includes certificate of authenticity. The red box depicts Knight Igor in battle scenes and includes certificate of authenticity. One illustrates Knight Igor and Irina in a village with a scenic backdrop of houses and Dome topped buildings finished with gold leaf and mother of pearl inlay. The last illustrates a woman holding flowers with a ladnscape naturalistic backdrop and finished with mother of pearl inlay. All re handpainted and signed by the artist.
