Description
VICTORIAN DECORATED MINIATURE LAMP, blue ground with polychrome and gilt decoration, compressed globular-form porcelain font with short up-turned tabs, decorated with a large scrolled cartouche and a portrait of a lady, underside impressed with a "3", ball-form opal glass shade with corresponding decoration, No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a Plume & Atwood Victor burner, colorless chimney. Late 19th/early 20th century. 8 3/4" H to top of shade, 3 1/4" H to top of collar, 4 3/4" D base.

Excellent condition, font undamaged, shade rim top with some very minute flakes/roughness and some touch-up to portrait, each with minor wear to decoration. Setup undamaged, normal roughness to chimney fitter.
