A Large Japanese Ivory Okimono carved in the form of a fisherman standing on top of a rocky mound, he wears a short robe over leggings and carries his son in one arm whilst holding a creel in the other, his other son stands beside him holding a short fishing net and proffering a fish to his father, details of the textile deisgns of his robe are lightly chased, height 45cms, Meiji Period; with a large lacquered carved wood stand surmounted by a balustrade with ivory post caps and fitted with a revolving turntable, height 43cms, Early 20th Century
