A signed vintage (c. 1950s), museum quality Zuni concha necklace. This piece features a large center disc (2.98"d) and six smaller discs (each 1.75"d) inlaid with the image of a bluebird and flowers. The inlay consists of turquoise, coral, onyx, mother of pearl and tortoise shell hand set into flattened discs which have been strung onto a necklace with 104 handmade silver beads. Each disc is etched with the initials G. L. and bears and undeniable similarity to the work of the Edaakie family, 28"l. The necklace weighs 234.5g. This piece includes a third party insurance appraisal of $4600.
