(lot of 2) Highly carved, ivory accented Japanese rosewood writing desk with chair, late 19th c., accompanied by the original receipt from Wing, Chong Lung & Co, San Francisco, dated 1904, a reticulated relief carved dragon at the back rail over a shelf, drawer and door faced with ivory floral, the opposite side a dragon flanked pagoda like structure with door, ivory floral, topped by a wing spread bird, the writing surface over three frieze drawers with dragon pulls, a lower door at one side opens to four small drawers, the other side open and rising on dragon topped supports with paw feet, the right back side with a door to shelves, together with (1) matching chair having a dragon back panel, dragon front legs, desk: 61.5"h, 45"w, 22.25"d, chair: 37"h, 22"w, 16.5"d Start Price: 800
