Bronze Statue of Seated Burmese Monk, 19th c., damages. Weight: 995 g. Size: 8.25" x 5.5" x 3.25" (21 x 14 x 8 cm). Provenance: Matthew Friedman Collection. Matthew Friedman is author of three books on the subject of antique Asian bronze, including 1) Nepalese Casted Decanters, Vessels and Bowls 2) Bangladesh Metal Casting: Five Techniques 3) Nepalese Cast Ceremonial Lamps. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Mekong Club, an organization made up of Hong Kong-based private sector business leaders who have joined forces to help fight human trafficking.
