TWO ASIAN BRONZE SCULPTURES, PROBABLY 20TH CENTURY, comprising a Thai u-thong style figure of Buddha Sakyamuni seated in virasana on a shaped throne, his right hand in bhumisparshamudra, the left resting on his lap, wearing samghati, with elongated earlobes and a serene expression on his face, height: 14 1/4"; a fine Chinese seated Guanyin shown seated in rajalilasana holding a scroll in her left hand, her robes falling gracefully around her body are decorated with clouds and scroll borders, her incised hair gathered in a topknot, accompanied by a custom hardwood stand, height: 11".
