AN EIGHTY-FOUR PIECE TOWLE STERLING SILVER FLATWARE SERVICE, "KING RICHARD" PATTERN, 20TH CENTURY, each piece traditionally decorated and reversing to underside with raised molded silversmith's marks (rearing lion), "TOWLE," "STERLING," "PAT. 1932," and comprising twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, twelve New French hollow dinner knives with bolster, fifteen teaspoons, twelve round bowl cream soup spoons, twelve seafood cocktail forks, one medium cold meat serving fork, one youth fork, one modern hollow butter spreader with stainless steel blade, one hollow handle paddle butter spreader, one tablespoon for serving, one pierced tablespoon for serving, one solid bonbon spoon with pierced bowl, one fruit or orange spoon, one oval soup spoon, together with a WM. Rogers silver plated fish serving fork in the Abington pattern, as well as a Rockford silver plated lettuce serving fork and a long handled pickle/olive fork in the Emerson, Waldorf, Claridge, and Whittier pattern, enclosed in a vintage Naken's Tarnish Proof Silverware Chest with hinged lid, approximate total weight of sterling silver pieces not including holloware or plated items: 108 troy ounces. NOTE: The King Richard pattern was designed by Ferdinand Poppenhauser and introduced in 1932.
