A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL BAROQUE STYLE GILTWOOD AND COMPOSITION ALTAR CANDLESTICKS, FITTED AS LAMPS, POSSIBLY 19TH CENTURY, each with faux candlestick socket covers atop a wide drip pan with scalloped edge reversing to a gadrooned underside, surmounting a socle shaped neck and tapering ring cuffed stem ending in palmette leaves and additional ring turned and reeded cuffs, surrounded by a wide floral carved wreath, over the tripartite base richly sculpted with "C" scrolls, voluted acanthus, and trapezoidal panels displaying an alternate stylized version of the Sacred Heart, raised on channeled ball feet, fitted for electricity.
