Pair of French Louis XVI Style Carved Beech Fauteuils, mid 19th c., the carved crests over oval medallion upholstered backs above circular seats with shaped cushions within upholstered scrolled arms to turned tapered fluted legs on toupie feet joined by a carved skirt, now in geometric needlepoint upholstery, H.- 37 in., W.- 27 in., D.- 21 1/2 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. There is consistent abrasive wear to the carving throughout. Consistent wear is noted to the finish throughout with areas of losses occurring all over.
