Wahl Eversharp: Fountain Pen. 1929 gold seal deco band oversize jade green. Quarter turn cap engagement. Flexible fine nib.
Eversharp was established in 1905 as the Wahl Adding Machine Company. In 1913 an inventor named Charles Keenan, developed the "Ever Sharp" Pencil which was too popular for him to keep up with the demand alone. He sought the help of the Wahl Adding Machine Company around 1915 to produce enough pens to meet the demand. This led to tremendous success and Wahl-Eversharp company was born, producing fine writing instruments until about 1957, when they had to sell the company.
