Forged brass Chelsea clock case with flanged door bezel has an 8 in. silvered dial signed “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA – Automatic Ship’s Bell”, incised hour numbers and pierced blued hands; quality brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA - 150795” with ships bell strike on a coiled gong and wired to also strike on a 9 in. dia. bell; in a brass ships wheel case, in nice condition. The clock and the bell are both mounted on an ash wood backboard with push button bell switch on the board and on-off switch on the side of the clock case. Clock measures 10 in. dia. x 3.75 in. deep – Bell measures 10 in. high x 9 in. wide x 11.5 in. deep – Overall dimensions 24.75 in. high x 27 in. wide x 13.5 in. deep.
