This 1928 vintage Elgin "Lady and Tiger" watch is perhaps the most collectible vintage ladies watch ever produced. It was styled in 1925 by Lucien Lelong embodying the roaring 20's deco design. The case is 14K white gold and features an inlaid enameled head of a woman on one end and a tiger on the other. The enamel work is bright, just gorgeous. The case has not been abused or machine polished...the designs are still crisp. The dial displays a gentle patina. The original 15 Jewel Elgin USA grade 484 movement has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted. It sets, winds and runs strong. Fully wound it will run for more than a day and comes with a 6 month warranty. There is no personalization or engraving on the back of the case and it measures 1" x 5/8".
