Condition
Observed under black light with evidence of professional restoration throughout the neck. Crazing thoughout, except around the area of restoration. The high glaze was used during the school's early period 1895-1910, before the arrival of Paul Ernest Cox in 1910. Cox introduced the desirable Semi-Matte glaze similar to what was used at Rookwood, and introduced St. Tammany Parish clay to the pottery as well.
