Herend of Hungary - 5 Chinese Bouquet Green Vases. Group consisting of a ginger jar, pitcher and three vases. Each marked on bottoms. Tallest measures 3.75 inches in height. The Herend Porcelain Manufactory is a Hungarian company of luxury hand painted and gilded porcelains. Founded in 1826, it is based in the town of Herend. In the mid-19th century it was purveyor to the Hapsburg Monarchy and aristocratic customersthroughout Europe.The Vienna Exhibition in 1845, the Great Exhibition in London in 1851, the Exhibition of All Nations in New York in 1853, and the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1855, led to the popularization ofthe porcelain worldwide and multiple awards. Also European member of distinctive Comit Colbert, French luxury houses and institutions.
