This painting depicts a panoramic view of mountain range, with a grove of pine trees in the front. Under pine trees and under foothill, a scholar and his attendant are seated near a table, reading and preparing food under the shade. A colophon of Chinese characters on the upper right hand corner attributes the artwork to 'FAN QI'. Ming Dynasty period.
